NASA Space Week

Introducing: --

Its Space Week in KIs community, and everyone
is star struck. Apparently, the kids have started a letter-writing campaign to get NASA to
take children into space. Theyve all written letters all except Gloria, that
is. Shes much happier with her feet on the ground.

The others are confused at Glorias cosmic change of
attitude. They go the planetarium and leave her alone with herself literally.
Gloria begins to have a confusing conversation with her sense of adventure personified,
and shes not happy.

Inner Glorias taunting finally convinces Outer Gloria to go to outer space.
Conveniently, she runs into the rest of Kids Inc., who are on the moon and loving it.

Theres even an Outer P*lace for them to hang out in (nice place, but no
atmosphere).

Gloria gets back to reality just as the kids get back from the planetarium. They
dont understand why shes suddenly changed her mind, but the point is, she has.

I gave this episode 3 microphones because it does have a good moral (new things are only
scary until you try them), but its sort of short and not very involved.

- THE SHOW IS NOT SET IN NEW YORK!! This has long been a myth; that New York City is the
only inner city that numbers their schools. However, when Gloria reaches the moon, she
mentions that the farthest shes ever been is New York meaning, she had to
travel to get there!
- Among the many laws of astronomy and planetary science being broken is Kids Inc removing
their helmets on the moon. Even though we were kids, it wouldnt be that hard to
explain and make them keep their helmets on until they were inside.
- During the Stand Up number, Gloria throws her tambourine to someone, but we
dont see who it is. Its possible its Wendy or Andrea.
- A dialogue first episode.
